Tiffany Vlasveld is no stranger to the spotlight! Being the eldest child in a family band, her parents introduced her to a love for the stage at 6 years of age. Surfacing from a musical family of 10, her life has been full of experiences that only a life on tour can entail. With 20 years of teaching under her belt, she has lived by her creed; "A Good Teacher Makes Learning a Joy!"

Tiffany understands the love of music; that with nurturing and support the most beautiful melodies can be created. She has performed along stars such as Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, LeAnn Rimes, Reba McEntire, Loretta Lynn and Tanya Tucker.

Tiffany specializes in Vocal Coaching, Performance, Songwriting and Piano and is passionate about helping others discover their own unique sound.

Zaac Pick is an award-winning songwriter, singer, performer, and touring musician with over 15 years experience in the music business. Many of his songs have appeared on TV shows like One Tree Hill, Degrassi, and Saving Hope, while he has performed alongside the likes of The Civil Wars, Bahamas, and Noah Gundersen.

He is excited to help students to learn to use the guitar as a tool to express their ideas and artistic voice in songs — working together to develop good creative habits and set goals that build confidence and skills.

Zaac teaches guitar, songwriting, performance and ukulele.

Jenny Banai

Immersed in the arts from a very young age, Jenny Banai adapted an almost immediate love for singing. Her experience in numerous forms of art and performance include musical theatre, choir, worship, and her current project as a professional recording and performing artist.

She has toured several times across Canada and briefly in the UK. A violinist, self-taught guitarist, powerful vocalist and song-writer, Jenny takes a keen interest in the emotional and intuitive nature of music and it’s therapeutic benevolence. She is excited to be a part of Song of Stars team and hopes to offer inspiration to students as they learn the pathway of their individual unique voices.

Music for Ella has always been a way to creatively communicate; whether it is an experience, an emotion or a narrative, it is a unique method of expression that is specific to each individual. Ella is a writer at her core, but music has always seeped its way into her creative process. When she is most stuck for ideas, she turns to her piano and her voice to work out the creative kinks.

Ella has just over 10 years of classical training: five years of Royal Conservatory Voice, eight years of Royal Conservatory Piano and this will be her thirteenth year performing in the Vancouver Bach Choir. Ella hopes to share with her students the excitement of exploring their own individual sound, and help them find their musical feet, through traditional methods and tools, but more importantly, through creatively exploring and having fun.

Ada Decolongon

Ada began playing piano at age 4 through the Suzuki Piano Method at the Vancouver Academy of Music. Her training at VAM incorporated Royal Conservatory of Music repertoire and studies, before she began playing popular music and started exploring other genres.

Her love for music moved her halfway across the globe to Sydney, Australia, where she completed an Advanced Diploma in the Creative Arts from Hillsong International Leadership College. She obtained her Piano Pedagogy Certificate from the British Columbia Conservatory of Music.

Ada has a passion for breathing new life into the structures of traditional instruction; and takes pride in cultivating the unique, musical gifts in each of her students.

Jay has been drumming professionally for 18 years and for a variety of Juno and GMA nominated artists. As a producer his work has been featured on a variety of TV shows such as Flashpoint and Grays Anatomy. As an instructor he has been a guest lecturer at local Universities and Colleges.

Mackenzie Kuettel

Mackenzie fell in love with music at age 12 and has been immersed in it ever since. With RCM training in both voice and piano, as well as 10+ years of singing and performance, she is also trained to teach Music for Young Children. She loves the opportunity to work alongside people and help them grow, to help them find their own sound as an artist.

Nicole Willemsen has been singing and performing since she was eight years old and has a passion to help others discover their own unique voice and musical expression. Nicole has trained in voice and piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music and has her Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from the University of British Columbia.

Nicole has competed in music competitions at a provincial level and loves singing and performing in many different musical styles and genres. Nicole loves to see students of all levels and musical styles succeed through teaching proper singing techniques that provide a solid foundation for beautiful sound.

Harrison Kuettel

Harrison Kuettel holds a Diploma in Music from Capilano University specializing in guitar performance, where he was also a finalist in the Performance Scholarship competition. Later Harrison transitioned to music composition and is currently working on a Bachelors in Music majoring in Composition at the University of British Columbia. His compositions have been played at the Sonic Boom Festival, with debuts in Canada and Europe. Harrison has won gold two times at the Kiwanis Music Festival for guitar performance, as well as the Most Promising Guitarist award.

While being strong in classical guitar, Harrison also has a strong interest in finger-style acoustic and electric guitar. He is the lead guitarist in emerging punk band Scarecrow on Fire and has experience playing in various groups. Harrison teaches guitar, ukulele, piano, music theory, ear training, and music composition. He has a passion for uncovering students’ personal musical identities, as well as pursuing complete musicianship.

Danny Gascho

Danny Gascho is a multi-instrumentalist, performer, songwriter, and music coach. He grew up in Kitchener, Ontario where he started playing drums, piano, bass, and guitar in church at a young age. His love of music grew throughout high school, where he majored in vocals and percussion via the Waterloo Region Integrated Arts Program. Not long after high school started, he began to serve as the music director at his local church.

In 2014, Danny was one of the top ten finalists in 93.7 Faith FM's Shining Star vocal competition. Since then, he has written for and has been featured on several albums. He also spent the last few years as an undergraduate student at Pacific Life Bible College where he had the opportunity to sing and to play drums for Paclife Worship.

Danny is passionate about helping others see the big picture of what it means both to learn and to enjoy music. He specializes in teaching piano, guitar, vocals, and songwriting.
